Who we are

Garden Transformations Limited (GTL) was founded in 2004 by Paul Naylor and Nick Hall. They had previously worked together for a former employer, but decided to try their luck at creating a better business: better customer service, better landscaping, better gardens.

Paul and Nick have complementary skills in the landscaping and gardening industry. They have come together as a team to provide you with a superior garden transformation experience.

Paul and Nick are both trade-certified by the New Zealand Horticulture Industry Training Organisation (NZHITO). They are also both registered by the NZHITO as training assessors, and are currently overseeing the completion of the apprenticeships of a number of their employees.

Paul Naylor

Paul has been working in the building and landscaping industries for the last 15 years, including three years working in London in the Hamstead Garden Suburb west of Highgate.

Paul has completed a wide range of hard landscaping projects, both residential and commercial. He is more than capable of taking care of your patio, pergola, deck and fencing needs. With Paul, there is no need to hire separate contractors, as he has a multi-faceted skill-base in building and landscaping. He is also able to organise the more fiddly aspects of your project, such as co-ordinating concrete pours, digger services and so much more.

Nick Hall

Nick has been in the horticulture industry for 13 years, learning all facets of garden maintenance, design, plant and lawn care. Nick’s work ethic is about value for money – aiming to transform your garden with every visit. Nick has a passion for native plants, and can create a planting plan to suit any garden.
